Hello, please can you tell me if its worth going to Rhodes middle may. Found really lovely hotel, would also like to know what weather should be like and will everything be open.

Thanks Sue.

we went around 7th May to Rhodes a few years back and we had lovely weather the whole week and were in shirt sleeves in the evenings. Though people did say they'd had a couple of days of rain a few days earlier. You'll hopefully be as lucky as us (plus Rhodes is pretty far south), just take an umbrella and a jacket and maybe a pair of jeans just in case.

I always travel out in May and generally the weather is very good. If you're unlucky you might get the odd day of rain or cool night but it's not uncommon to have two weeks of glorious sunshine.

Depending on which resort you pick you might need a jacket for the evening, the West coast and Rhodes Town can be quite breezy and will feel cooler at night.

Hi there

The only downside to travelling in May is that the sea is still likely to be quite cool.
