Very reasonable, in my opinion, I hope other airlines will soon follow.

Don't think this is anything to worry about

Some airlines have been charging for years. Can't recall what it used to be but it's around £30 return now if you are travelling in Europe and around £79 return if it's longhaul.

Its disgusting that they charge this!

The infant doesnt get a seat, isnt allowed any baggage, other than a buggy.

A disabled person isnt charged for their wheelchair.

Just another charge to help the rich get richer!

We actually paid more for our little one than for our own flights, as we got a £1 flight!

Hey

Trev, get u dude :-)

On a serious note, on the likes of Easyjet n RyanAir who operate a first come first serve system for seats unless u choose priority/ speedy boarding options, I have known families with toddlers (up to the age of 2 etc) to give a toddler their own seat with the family. So, at the risk of upsetting families with toddlers who have their own seat, I believe they should be charged. Its all about the weight of the aircraft n fuel consumption. Although, I disagree with infants being charged who sit on their parents knees/laps. Although the carriers will argue its extra weight!

Only my opinion

Hey

Yep, EJ are 'trialling' this on selected routes for summer 2012 together with the hire of 'tablets' on selected routes with regards 'in flight entertainment'.
