Hey a few things to ask/ general advice wanted please. I appologise now for any mispelling of places.
Mainly, want to know about prices of soft drinks/beer and lunch type food while out and about in Rhodes as concerned due to recent greek economy. Also, advice on bus services to listed attractions (see below) and price guides of entry and drinks/snacks there too please. And boat trip companies and general recommendation of places to see?
We are visiting for 10 days from 5th-15th July and are a family of 4... two parents, a 20 year old and me who is 22. We are more see everything then relax in the evening than sit around the pool then party all night type of traveller! We are staying all inclusive at the Iris Aparthotel in Afandou so if anyone reading has stayed there, any tips would be grand. Especially if anyone could answer how much drinks are as understand that all inclusive finishes at 10:30pm?? Also if snacks are available during the day or is it just the coffee hour seen on review on here?
The attractions we are hoping to visit are:
- the waterpark (and maybe twice if anyone knows of any deals for this?)
- old Rhodes Town (any castles or churches or markets?)
- maybe the Butterfly Village (although read is hard to get to from Afandou?) and
- Also read that bays around Faliraki/ Lindos are lovely so if anyone could recommend?
Lastly, we are football fanatics so are hoping to grab some world cup action while we are out there as it concludes that week. I am assuming that we will quite easily be able to find a bar wherever we are on the island that will be showing these games? If not could anyone please recommend, particularly with a restaurant/pool table for the half of the family not so interested :P
Thank you ever so much. Sorry for all the questions... like to fill my time up with research while wait for the date to come haha!
