Hi there, obvs depends on where you go to eat out as sum restaurants/tavernas will be dearer than others, but last yr general prices were 2.50/3 euros for a pint of Amstel/Mythos,2.5/3 euros for glass of wine (half litre carafe of house wine 5 euros/litre 8/9 euros),cocktails around 5/6 euros, sprits can be quite dear but many bars do happy hrs so u can get good offers then.If u stick with local brands,it is much cheaper than imported drinks. We were having breakfasts from 1.50 euro (bargain) up to 5 euros with everything included.3 course meal at around 10 euros or a gyros (greek kebabs) for 2 euros.Alot of tavernas have good offers on,you just hav to look around. If you r going with a package tour don't book trips with the reps as they are very dear.Go to a local travel agent in your resort and trips will be half the price as will car hire etc.,Local buses are very cheap also.To hire 2 sunbeds with umbrellas on beach cost us 8 euros last yr.Obvs this can amount up if you do that every day,so we bought a parasol and lilos which saved abit of money.Water sports on beaches can be dear, but nice to do for a treat maybe once on ur hols.Supermarkets aren't as cheap as they used to be,but can still get bargains if u look around again.Corfu Town is a great place to visit but again sum places to eat/drink can be dear, but if you find a real greek taverna away from the Liston you'll find it half the price, but the Liston is a fab place to sit n people watch with a drink or a coffee once in a while.Hope this helps a little. We luv Corfu and find you can hav a great hol without going overboard on money if ur sensible and hav a few treats along the way.It can really be as cheap or as dear as you want.Have a luvly hol n May is a good time to visit also.......

I agree with most of what Jesseche has said, but cocktails are widely available at around €4 and many restaurants will sell house wine at less than €5. One of my favourites in Roda, was doing half litre carafes at €2,50. There is a big difference between resorts, so don't assume that all are the same.

I agree that prices vary depending on where you go, what you have etc. On the whole we found Corfu to be very affordable for refreshments and basic meals, less so for fine dining. Soft drinks were 2€, lager between 2-3€, pasta dishes 5-7€, appetizers/meze 3-5€, Greek salad 4-5€, omelettes 3-5€. We had some *very* filling meals for less than 12€ pp. We also had gourmet meals for 20€ pp (well worth splashing out for). Fish was expensive, as it is everywhere else in Greece, gyros/kebabs were very very cheap. I don't think you'll have trouble keeping to a budget.
