How much should a taxi cost from the airport to Kaminaki?

Also has anyone got an email address for the Supermarket/mini market in the village?

We are going in the end of August..looking forward to it haven't been back for 10 years and expect things have got more expensive!

Any ideas on how much an average meal would cost?

Thanks.

Hi a taxi should be between 45-55 euros each way. Cheaper to book online, checkout two or three Corfu transfer companys before finally booking. Sorry no idea of supermarket e-mail . If its still there. But you have Aphrodite S/M up in Nissaki , they will deliver to you. Prices have certainly gone up in ten years but seem to have stayed stable for the last 2/3. Average meal with wine for two ranges from 25/80 euros depending where and what you have. Hope this helps.

Yes thanks, the taxi fare seems to be roughly what I have been quoted... the meal price seems to have gone up horrendously...! I forsee lots of salad, chips and tsatziki...but isn't that one of the most amazing meals in the world anyway...?

We will just have to monitor the 80 euro meals..

Thank you for your help..finally

...is there any transport, apart from taxis, out of Kaminaki..?

No transport out of Kaminaki, but buses can be caught up on the main road. Might be better if you hired a car and collect from the airport on arrival. Sorts out transfers , shopping and sightseing. Could work out cheaper.

Supermarket closed 3 years ago. Due to lack of support, last of the 3 village shops that made life easier for visitors but just couldn't continue. Sad after 24 years but the same has happened in my village here in England. Very good advice to hire a car from the airport. A lot of the properties in Kaminaki have private parking spaces and a car really makes life easier for shopping and getting out and about. Only few buses a day from the main road and you need to be fit for the walk up the hill. Meals in the village still very reasonable. Hope you have a great holiday.
