Chios to kos

Hey :)

I am trying to plan a trip to the Greek islands in a couple of weeks

and I was thinking of going from Kos to Chios..

Do you know any ways to travel between these 2 islands other than the airplane?

Because traveling by air is way too expensive for us!

Thxx

Hi. You need to get to Samos from Kos, and then there is a ferry link on Tues Thurs and Sunday from Samos to Chios.

Options

1) Get a flying dolphin from Kos to Patmos, and then a ferry or flying dolphin from Patmos on to Samos.....or

2) get a ferry from Kos to Kalymnos and then catch the Nissos Kalymnos ferry from there to Samos.

Fairly straightforward- option 2 might be more reliable and is the one we use more often, as the flying dolphins can be cancelled in high winds.

Good luck.

Daily Hydrofoil Kos town to Samos (Pythagorion), or any ferry to say Kalimnos or Patmos, and then the Hydrofoil or 'Nissos Kalimnos' ferry 4x/week to Samos (Pythagorion).

Bus from Pythagorion > Samos(Vathy or to Karlovassi) depending on the port required.

Then another ferry (NEL) from Samos(Vathy or Karlovassi) about 3 times per week to Chios.

Obviously similar the other way as your subject.
