Bornholm for 2 nights in July

Hi, we will be in Malmo in July and are thinking about going to Bornholm via ferry from Ystad for 2 nights. We've never been there. Which city should we stay in? We will be using buses, bikes, and walking. We are couple 60 years old. Any advice for nice, relaxing time seeing some sights on Bornholm?

I would sugges that you should stay in the northeastern part of the island - from Allinge-Sandvig down to Svaneke.

That's the most spectacular part of the island - the part with rocky cliffs vs. sandy beachs on the rest of the island - and also where most of the summer holiday life is - my two favorites cities are Gudhjem and Svaneke - both have a really sweet vibe and lot's of tours to take on foot, on bike or by boat.

Places to visit would be: Christiansø, Hammerknuden, Bornholms Kunstmuseum (artmuseum), the round church at Østermarie - there are also very nice glass artists, local food and beer production (mostly centered in Svaneke).

And this is a good resource for ideas: http://www.bornholm.info/en
