Transportation from Airport to Hotel

We are staying at:

Copenhagen Marriott Hotel

Kalvebod Brygge 5

Copenhagen

I see on Marriott website that a taxi costs 220.00 DKK ,

They also indicate that there is a bus that can be taken to Central Station.

We will be arriving mid week on 14 April from an overnight flight arriving at 0745.

Having never been to Copenhagen before, do your recommend the taxi or can we do the bus without too much trouble? There are 2 of us.

Thank you.

1. Re: Transportation from Airport to Hotel

Is the train a possibility? Would we take it to Central Station? And then how far would it be to hotel - walking distance or would we need to take a taxi?

Thanks.

Hi,

Public transport - DKK 36 per person:

Train from the airport to Copenhagen Central Station. Walk 800 m - 12 mins to the hotel or take a taxi.

Bus 5A from the airport to Polititorvet. Walk 300 m - 5 mins to the hotel.

Bus#66 from central station to directly in front of Marriott. Bus ticket is included in the train fare from the airport (DKK36, as Hans mentioned).

Many thanks to you both for your prompt replies. DKK 36 sounds much better than 220 for taxi!
