How is the dollar faring?

Planning a trip and would like to know what to expect. Live in NYC so don't expect to be shocked but what do things cost like meals, transportation, museums, etc.

Copenhagen is expensive, few examples

slice of pizza: 30DKK

small sandwich: 30DKK ++

Big glass of beer 50DKK

small danish muffin 20DKK

bigger pieces 30DKK

ice cone: 20DKK

pizza in restaurant 100 DKK

3 course dinner in restaurant 200++ DKK

sorry but I do not know coffee prices, as I do not drink it.

The wonderful National Museum is free and the major sites are easily walkable so you do not need to use the bus for the most part. The food, even by NYC standards, is very expensive. I filled up on the wonderful breakfasts at our hotel, did granola bars for snacks instead of lunch, and very carefully perused the menus at dinner to stay within budget.

I agree that an overnight place with breakfast included is recommendable.
