6 days in Copenhagen...How does this plan look?

Hi everyone,

I've been taking lots of notes from the forum in anticipation of our upcoming trip in December and now I want to see if the experts think I have made a good plan. : ) Help is much appreciated!

Friday - flight arrives at 10:30 AM. Take train to hotel, head to Torvehalleme for lunch. Walk around a bit. Dinner at Radio at 8:30 PM

Saturday - lunch at Geranium at 1PM. Afterwards, walk around city a bit (Nyhavn and Stroget). Eat dinner at whatever place catches our eye.

Sunday - Helsignor and Louisiana Modern Art Museum. Dinner at Geist at 7PM.

Monday - Viking Ship Museum and dinner at Kiin Kiin at 6PM

Tuesday - Noma at noon. After lunch, walk around Christiana, then head to Tivoli.

Wednesday - Maybe lunch at Damindra? Or back to Torvehalleme? Flight leaves at 5:30 PM.

I was thinking that we should maybe do a canal tour, but I'm not sure. We are really interested in food (obviously :)) and I want to go to the Christmas markets and do some other shopping, but are otherwise pretty open. Anything I'm missing? Anything look too crazy? I feel like there is a lot packed in here....Does it seem do-able, or am I too over ambitious?

Thanks so much for your help! (Heroneya - thanks for the restaurant recommendations!)

The Tower of Vor Frelser Kirke has introduced more opening days and will be open in December, on the 6th-8th and 12th-15th. A unique and romantic view of the city, provided that the weather is calm and that you are not afraid of heights (http://www.vorfrelserskirke.dk/taarnet). Also, I´d recommend a canal boat tour if possible.

As you probably know, the main Viking Ship Museum is in Roskilde, outside Copenhagen. Viking exhibitions can also be found in the city´s own National Museum (free entrance), but the acknowledged, temporary one focusing on a large viking ship there will close on Nov. 17th.

For local events, including concerts etc. in the city, check out www.kultunaut.com and http://cphpost.dk/
