Visit to Denmark (Copenhagen) during autumn

Hi everybody!

I am planning to visit Copenhagen on 23.11.13.

And the ticket back is from Amsterdam, 01.12.13.

As I understand it will be very cold and rainy in Copenhagen(

PLEASE advice me where to go and what to do In Denmark during those days. I need to be in Copenhagen only on 24th and 25th November, afterwards I can take some tours.

And I need to be in Holland on 28-29th of November.

P.S. Travelling alone.

Thanks in advance!

My friends advice me to visit Ribe. Is it worth? (during autumn)

It is the oldest town of Denmark. You should go there.

Ribe is quite far from Copenhagen - 3h15 by train with 1 change - and days are short at the end of November.

I would spend my time closer to Copenhagen.

I just got back from a 3 day visit to Copenhagen - and yes it was rainy and cold! I still had a great time though, you just need to dress for it. The Royal palace and the Marble church right next to it are worth a look. I also really liked the Vesterbro area and exploring all the design shops. Just bear in mind that shops and restaurants often close early/open late or aren't open on Sundays. You can check out my blog post about my trip here: flashpackingfemale.com/index.php/…

You could visit Malmö in Sweden. And definitely use a day on Louisiana and Hillerød (Frederiksborg Castle). There is plenty to see and dó in Copenhagen, especially if you decide to take it easy couple of days and just enjoy the neighbourhoods the way Copenhageners do.

I don't advice you to go to Ribe.
