Car plugs

Preparing a trip to Abisco in December we have discovered a new reality like plugging in the car for engine heating. But how are those sockets for cars? The same as we have in houses to plug in different electronic devices? What will happen if I do not plug for the night or it will depend on the outside temperature?

You don´t have to use an engine heater! A lot of people never do. It saves fuel, since it heats the engine, and the car gets warm faster. Some old cars can be hard to start without engine heater.

There is a special cord in your car if it it´s got a block heater.

In one end there is a normal plug, and a smaller one for the car end.

Most hotels up north have outlets at their parkings.

If you find one use it!
