Cruiseship transfer to Arlanda airport

We arrive at the dock at 8 AM and don't fly out until 2 PM. Any ideas how to spend that time, where to store luggage if possible, and still get to the airport in reliable time – i.e. 12:30 p.m.?

If you want to spend that time in Stockholm, then you would take the Arlanda Express from Centralen (The main station). It's a 20 minute ride which means if you want to get there at 12:30, you'd want to be on the 12:05 train.

The best is to buy tickets before you board the train, but if you are running late and need to be on the train, you can buy them onboard for an extra 50kr per person.

Luggage can be stored at Centralen. That gives you 8:30-9ish to 11:45 to explore the city, which is enough time to see some of the sights. A simple walking tour might be to check out the city hall, head up to Sergels Torg, then down drottninggatan to Gamla Stan (Old Town), over to the Royal Palace (You will not be able to see the changing of the guards which happens at 1215), then down through Gamla Stan, eventually ending up at the Gamla Stan subway station. From here, take the subway to Östermalmstorg. Head up on the Östermalmstorg side and visit the Östermalmtorgs Saluhallen. Then down to the the water and up to Kungsträdgården and on back to Sergels Torg. That might be about the right amount of time..

Or, you could walk
