Arlanda Express vs Taxi

We are a group of 4 adults.

We plan to leave Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel on one Monday afternoon (around 4pm), to Hotorgshallen to have a look and eat, and then walk around the city centre. We will come back to the hotel before midnight since our flight is early the next day.

I checked that adult ticket price is SEK260@ for Arlanda Express.

Anyone has any idea about the cost of taking a taxi then?

Would it be more economical for the 4 of us to take a taxi in this case?

1. Re: Arlanda Express vs Taxi

The major vendors like Taxi Kurir or Taxi Stockholm charges 520 SEK from Arlanda to the City (and the other way around). So it's pretty much the same price to share a taxi compared to the Arlanda Express.

Most of the major taxi vendors charges around 500 SEK each way.

If you go by taxi make sure to use one of the major vendors like Taxi Kurir, Taxi Stockholm or Taxi 020.

Taxi market is unregulated in Sweden and some "unmarked" cars tries to take advantage of this, especially when it comes to tourists.
