Stockholm Card Discount with IKEA Family!!

Hello everyone,

this is actually not a question but a suggestion.

With the IKEA Family Card (available for free in all the IKEA stores in your country) you'll have a 3x2 discount on the 3-day Stockholm card, meaning you'll pay the 3-day card for a price of a 2 -day card, saving 145 SEK.

Actually you don't need the IKEA card when you book and pay but I guess they will ask when you go get it, I'll let you know in a week or so.

The Discount Code for this promotion is IKEA and it's valid until September 2014.

Hope this will be useful.

Cheers

Hello!

I was all right? When you pick up the card you asked for something to accept the promotion? You had to show ikea family?

Thank you!

Great tip thank you for this. How do you make the booking - through ikea or through the Stockholm card website. I logged into my ikea family account and couldn't find any offer that way, so just wondered how to do it please.

Does it work with any Ikea Family card (from any country) or only from Germany?

What about if I only have the digital copy of my card?

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry for the missing update and the lack of answers but I graduated 3 days after I wrote the post and I forgot about updating you! and Tripadvisor didn't tell me about your answers so...

Anyway, here all the info!

1) You can use an IKEA Family card from ANY COUNTRY, not just from Germany.

2) As some mentioned, you can buy the Stockholm Card on this website: www.visitstockholm.com/en/stockholmcard/…

3) Apparently it's only for the 3-day card.

4) You have to type your IKEA Family card number when you book and pay the Stockholm card

5)You do NOT need to SHOW your IKEA Family card when you collect the Stockholm card. You ONLY need to show the receipt of the payment. (but after all, being the IKEA Family card free, would you risk it? Just bring it with you or get your own if you don't have it)

6) While you can buy the Stockholm card in a lot of stores around the city, you can only collect the discounted, prepaid card from 2 places, at the Arlanda airport and in front of the train station.

I hope you'll save a lot of money!

I wish you a life full of travels!

Hello,

How long does it take to get this card with the IKEA Family Discount? I'm going to Shtokholm next week? Do I still have time to buy the card?
