Location for 3-days in Stockholm

1) We will have precisely 3 full days in Stockholm (arrival to the hotel at 18:00 and leaving the hotel at 18:00 3 days later) and will visit VASA, Skansen, Royal Palace, Nobel museums, may be half-day archipelago excursion. Of course Gamla Stan, Södermalm (SoFo)...

Is 3 days enough for what we are intending to do?

2) What is the best part of the city to stay to manage such tour?

3) How is the location of the Connect Hotel City located at Alströmergatan 41 in Kungsholmen?

1) Sounds doable to me, you can spend one day in the Djurgården area (Vasa, Skansen etc.) and one day around the Palace, Nobel museum and Gamla stan, then you have a half-day for an archipelago trip as well.

2) Center/Gamla stan/Djurgården - but if you allow for 20 minutes subway trip you have numerous options.

3) 4-5 minutes walk to a subway station and then another 9 minutes to the T-Centralen station.

A 3 day Stockholm Card might be an option for you, it's 795 SEK including public transport and admissions to some museums - www.visitstockholm.com/it/stockholmcard/

Thank you. A quick Google Maps A to B directions search via public transport shows 5 minutus walk (hotel to Fridhemsplan T-bana) + 3 minutes subway (2 stops from Fridhemsplan T-bana to T-Centralen T-bana).

So in total 8 minutes. Did you confuse the location of the hotel or took into consider time spent for getting to the subway like taking the escalator/elevator from the street level to the subway platform, waiting for the next train, etc?

The blue metro line is quite deep, it takes a few minutes getting down to the platform and back up again. I'd say 5 minutes walk to the metro station, three minutes to the platform, three minutes to T-Centralen and then two minutes getting up to ground level.

Thank you. As your estimation does not include wait times for metro, how frequent is it during the day and night?

Fridhemsplan has both the green line and blue line, green line operates every five minutes during rush hour and about 20 min in part at night.

I'm sorry my answer was a bit confusing.

The blue line will take you to T-centralen (3 minutes) but with the green line you can go T-centralen (9 minutes) -> Gamla Stan -> Slussen/Medborgarplatsen (Södermalm) without changing train (and as a previous poster mentioned, the blue line is pretty deep down :)
