48 hours in Iceland

We will be going on the Golden Circle Tour on our first day, on our second day we want to go to the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall . Can anyone recommend how we can spend the rest of the day / night ( maybe involving the south coast beach ?

Many Thanks in advance

For me, the very best use of one day in the south coast is going all the way to the glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón, which is truly unique in Europe, and in the whole northern hemisphere of our planet (except for the obvious Greenland). Day tours use 14 hours, which might be too long (?) but that's for you to decide.

More options with the south coast: plain bus tour, combined tours with snowmobiling on a glacier, or combined with a glacier hike. Or rent a car.

Enjoy your two-day stay!

What would the weather be like near the glacier in July?

How much time i spend on foot versus in the bus on the 14 hours tour?

thank you!
