Eurorefund.com - what is the address ?

When I was in Iceland and purchased goods for export, I was given a long receipt with address/passport/credit card/etc to be filled in for the VAT refund, but the store did not have any pre-paid envelopes. The receipts have a website: www.eurorefund.com printed on them, but this website does not appear to be active anymore. What is the address for these receipts to be mailed to ?

NOTE - I also have receipts and envelopes for "Tax Free Worldwide", I do not need any help for these.

Thanks !

No - that is not correct (but thanks for the reply)

www.eurorefundgroup.com - seems to be for Spain Portugal and Italy but not Iceland.

There are 2 tax free companies for Iceland -- one is "tax Free Worldwide" -- what is the other one ? If you are in Iceland, can you update this thread with the name and the address from the pre-paid envelope ?

Thanks !

I would have to find it in some store to be sure. But I usually hear about Global Blue in addition to the other one. This "taxfreegroup" has had opation in Iceland though, I remember their logo being around here.

Hello,

That would be VERY helpful if you can go to a store to check. . Thank you !

I remember Global Blue from a previous trip to Iceland a few years ago.

Let me give you more information about my receipts:

This is what is printed at the top of all of these receipts:

ICELAND REFUND FORM

Refund of Value Added Tax

www.eurorefund.com

TAX FREE SHOPPING

Can you ask if these kinds of receipts are supposed to be mailed to Global Blue ? Or somewhere else ?

thanks again,

Ron

They have so efficiently disappeared from the web ... that's quite remarkable.

Hello Diane,

Thanks for the link. I sent an email to the 'contact us" address but I have not heard back anything for a few days.

Can you go to a store that has gives out VAT refunds with "WWW.EUROREFUND.COM" and ask them for a pre-paid envelope and let me know the address ?

Please let me know,

thanks !

Ron, I'm very sorry. It's too much out of my way :(

To begin with, I've no idea which store that could be, and second, I live in a residential area of Reykjavík, and there are no tourist shops on my way - I would have to keep this is mind for many days until I finally find myself in front of one, and actually remember that envelope thing... which I know I can't promise.

It feels weird, this thing with the eurorefund. If they have disappeared in this manner ... I don't know if you'd get to hear anything more from them, even if you send them your receipts (??)

Shouldn't there be other travelers who have dealt with them?

And yet, silence from all other seasoned travelers in Iceland ... (!??)

I sincerely hope it turns out for the best.
