Taxi or bus

Hello there, i arrive tomorrow at Malta around 22:10 at night and want to head to San Edwardu, Ħal Qormi. I searched for buses and found that the best route is to take X4 and then bus 62 and disembark to Marzu stop which is near the area. Do you agree? Is it cheaper than taking a taxi or? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Unless you know the area, at that time of night I would suggest using a taxi as the buses start winding down after 2200 and there is no guarantee that you will get to Valletta in time for the last bus to Qormi.

By taxi the journey from the airport to Qormi at night will only take about 15 minutes.

If you book a taxi at the Taxi desk in arrivals hall in the airport the price to Qormi is fixed at 15 euros ,

You pay at the desk then take the receipt out to one of the waiting vehicles .

But don`t go straight out to the taxis because you may end up paying more

the price at the desk is fixed .
