2010 Aberdeen to Malta - FLY Direct?

My friend had just flown home from Malta to UK with BA. He claimed that the inflight magazine said that there was going to be 2010 direct flights Aberdeen - Malta.

Anyone have any firther info on this as I can not find anything on the net.??

I believe British Airways have pulled out of flying to Malta altogether. Last September I found on their website that they were ceasing their service to Malta I believe from sometime in March.

I have just checked their website and Malta is not shown at all.

I have looked on www.skyscanner.net and there does not appear to be any direct flights to Malta from Aberdeen.

Skyscanner is often used by the travel agents to find the best selection of flights to a particular destination form any UK airport.

Closest to Aberdeen (flying direct) might be the Edinburgh route now being flown by Ryanair.

We've booked for later this year at just over £60 each return!

Hi lassie,

Air Malta fly direct from Aberdeen to Malta, but are unfortunately very expensive(fares and taxes). Your best bet would be to fly from Edinburgh with Ryanair, who are far cheaper. I believe BA have stopped flying from Aberdeen to Malta.
