Hi,

just wondering if anybody knows a 25/50m pool where I can go for some training.. (I mean a good Hour, without kids jumping and splashing around )

Hopefully I ll be on Holiday in September but I wonna spend few days running on Prom and swimming as well (sport nut!!)

i found only this one so far:

I noticed a good few people swimming in the sea at St Georges Bay near the Corentina Hotel. You could jog back to Sliema along the Promonade.

Thanks guys

The sea is a good option... that s what we do with the Triathlon club in Galway.. but we have a specific days and time (6.30pm).. so boat, lifeguards, so on are aware of that...

My swim is usually 1.500m/2.000 m and in the pool means swim 80 legnths x 25m = 2Km

In the sea I won t have any idea of the distance...

I know I m a pain.. just love what I m doing!

thanks for the infos!

Once you're an expert swimmer, calculate the distance between the Fortizza near the Preluna beach club and the Exiles along the Promenade, and then swim that route in the sea.

Joking apart - you're on holiday so do what pleases you.

The bus system is all upside down but you could also have a look at the National Pool at Tal Qroqq, Msida.

This is not in sliema but in Ta Qali near the stadium.

Its 25m and indoor , plus a gym next door with all the machines and treadmills !

I will try to find a link to the national pool at Tal Qroqq
