November or February?

Looking to book a short break to Malta, but can't decide on Mid November or mid Feb. Would like to see some sunshine, but realise that statistics for both months show fair bit of rain. When it rains during these months does it tend to rain all day or is it normal to get some sunny spells too? Budget is tight hence not booking say October, as hotels and flights bit cheaper in Nov/Feb.

Based on my experiences mid November is probably the best time to visit. It does nottend to rain all day, mostly showers and so a raincoat or umbrella will be useful, however you should see plenty of sun.

I would opt for November ahead of February but both are a bit of a gamble. It rarely rains all day but very heavy rain is common place when it does.

There is masses to see so even if it showers, raincoat on and off you go! :0)
