Malta in August - anywhere we can stay for just a few days?

We've been invited to a wedding in Malta in August 2014. Although we'd love to go to the wedding we don't really want to spend 7 days in Malta in August as my husband & daughter suffer badly from the heat. They don't even cope in southern England in the summer!!

Does anyone know anywhere with decent accommodation that would accept a booking for 3 or 4 nights only? Don't mind if its hotel, B&B or appartment, as long as its a reasonable standard. We need 2 rooms. Preferable near or in Qawra. Thanks in advance.

Have a word with CHOICE HOLIDAYS

They are a Malta based firm and have a Freephone number 0800 811 9025 ( free to phone from UK)

They have a large choice of hotels and their prices are very good.

Make sure you get a room with air conditioning as August , as you say, is extremely hot,

Depending on your budget a few ideas might be Soreda Hotel , Dolman Hotel , Santana Hotel or the San Antonio Hotel.

All are well located in Qawra / Bugibba and close to lots of bars and restaurants and only a short step from the bus station.

Have a good stay in Malta.
