8 till late shop Malta Airport arrivals

Will be arriving at Malta airport at about 21.00 and then transferring to the Northern end of the island. Does anyone know if the 8 till late shop at the airport sells wine?

Yes they do. I recalled seeing various drinks and loads of other stuff there. I wasn't sure so I emailled them and they confirm they do sell wine. They close at 22:00 so suggest you go straight there (though I think I've seen them open later?).

Be careful what wine you buy in the airport shop as it is a lot more expensive than in the shops but that might be for imported stuff. The supermarkets are a lot cheaper so I would only buy what I wanted for that night and get the rest next day.

Thank you both very much for your replies.

We should land at approx 20.40 and will be heading straight for that 8 till late. Have checked its location out on the airport map! We will then be getting the X1 up to Paradise Bay - think this leaves at about 21.30 and should get us there at about 22.40. I suspect that their bar may close at 23.00. The wine/alcohol/snacks are only for the one night as off to Gozo the following morning.

Once again thank you for replying
