Taxi for disabled with collapsable small electric scooter

Visiting Malta mid June 2014.

Some posts have asked what to do on one day cruise ship visits and the replies all mention using Taxi's.

Does anyone know what the taxi's are like for dealing with situations like this?

We have experienced discrimination in some ports before so any advanced information would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Because Malta is a small Island the problem you will have is finding a disabled taxi you will not get any discrimination. You might try somewhere like Malta Transfer.com who do pickups at the airport of large groups ie 8-10 people and they have several other people carriers like what you are looking for.

Graham if you go onto Skyline Webcams Malta they are live webcams in Malta one is at the harbour where the taxis do their pickup it will give you a good idea of the area their is a lift up to the upper level that you can use so you can get into the city.
