commonwealth graves Kalkara

Having visited Malta for the last 10 years, I was amazed to discover my great grandfather is burried in the commonwealth grave yard in Kalkara. What a lovely and well tendered place it is. Such a shame no information appears on any sites telling visitors it exists. The people who look after the plots are doing a great job . well worth a visit

There are several military cemeteries in Malta, most of which are maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and they are also very well tended. I agree though they are not publicised and I'm sure there are many British visitors to Malta who would like to visit and pay their respects. For anyone else interested details are available on the Commission's website; http://www.cwgc.org/find-a-cemetery.aspx
