Would it be a good idea to bring swimmingshoes for the rocky beaches on Gozo or should we save the weight? Travel with 2 children age 10 and 13 who are used to some stones on the Danish beaches.
Thanks - Lone
I don't think shoes will be needed if I'm honest.
It's been a bit too rough for swimming of late.
I'd wear swim shoes or fins (aka 'flippers') to protect against rocks or anything sharp. As for swimming it may depend on weather and sea conditions......
If weight is an issue buy some there and throw away?
Or to be eco friendly, give them away....
You can buy swim suitable shoes in the resort gift shops, but the quality of the ones I had this year were poor, and I threw them away and stayed with bare feet.
If you have the weight, bring some.
