A nice walk along the seafront , from the Gillieru , will give you much choice of food and drink . I would go to a place where the locals are eating out ! at least they would have tried other places and come back to the best !!!

Hi

You should visit : http://www.thethreecities.org the three cities,

if you will be here on 15 august go to any st. mary's feast in 7 localities around Malta , especially in Mqabba so you could see of other 2 villages fireworks competing with each other http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHW6ZjqBF0k

go to Dingli cliffs, rabat, mdina - 51, 52, 53 from Valletta ( bus routes on:http://arriva.com.mt/home?l=1

go to Blue Grotto near Mnajdra temples and Hagar Qim - if you in rabat you can catch 201 stop at dingli cliffs for 1 or 2 hrs catch the same bus from the cliffs every quarter past the hour, then go to hagar Qim and from there only 30mins walk to Blue Grotto

So with the 201 bus you could see: dingli cliffs, mnajdra temples and blue grotto :)

Taxi is quite a problem i think because on the 14 of august the fireworks festival of these localities will start around 9 pm till 12 am, taxi is quite a problem, it is better to rent a car, we drive cars like in UK on the same side however, we drive like Italians !! ( so beware) if you encounter any driver that does not stop on a stop sign etc :), taxis do not generally be there they will be in more tourist place on the 14 of august, and buses are till 10.30 but from Mqabba/ qrendi you have to catch to the airport and then X3 ( which takes over 1 hr) and from bugibba it is a long walk to st. pauls bay
