Hi There

Flights are fairly simple. You have two choices of route.

1. Fly to Ercan (Lefkosa or Nicosia) in Northern Cyprus. All flights will touch down in Turkey first but often you do not have to get off the plane. From the UK, you have the choice of Cyprus Turkish Airlines from Stansted, Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow. Or Turkish Airlines from Heathrow and Manchester. Or Sun Express from Luton. Best people to look for are a specialist travel agent called Transit Travel - they have a website. They will get you the best flights for your dates.

2. Fly to Larnaca in S. Cyprus and just taxi up across the border. There are no border problems. Many airlines fly to Larnaca, both scheduled - BA and Cyprus Airways and charter from all regional airports in the UK. Look on www.travelsupermarket.com or www.travelrepublic.co.uk for flights to Larnaca.

As for accommodation - there are lots of small hotels and also villas. We have a villa which we rent out www.villarockheart.com which we purchased as our future retirement home some years ago. Send me a message if you are interested in renting that.

Good luck with your hunt.

Allie
