No. Looking at your address I'd say you'd fly from Manchester to Turkey and then get a connection. There are no flights between the North and South of Cyprus, not yet anyway.

You can fly into Larnaca and get a taxi transfer to Kyrenia, or even hire a car in the south though you have to buy insurance at the border. Demis car hire allows you to take over. Flights to Ercan go via turkey, CTA, Onur, or agents Cyprus Paradise etc do just flights or packages. Usually works out about same timing even with stop. Just do search for more agents. Best hotels in town - Colony, The Rocks or Pia Bella.

Check out Green Island holidays www.greenislandholidays.com, they do flights only or package holidays to North Cyprus, we have travelled with them a number of times, they are very competative in terms of price compaired to some of the other travel companies previously mentioned. We fly from Stanstead to Antalya, then onto North Cyprus after a stop of about 1 hour, or try flying Thursday night, the flight sometimes goes direct, we did it once, not sure what the flying time is from Manchester, you can book direct on line with Green Island, or get a price for your holiday without commiting yourself. There is a lot of building work going on but still plenty to see and enjoy if you hire a car and go along the Karpaz it is still very unspoilt, with some great beaches and not many people making them crowded. You can fly to Larnaca then travel to the North, some hotels may send transport to collect you as part of the package, but a note of caution, there have been instances of unpleasantness at the border crossing by the GC police who can make things difficult for those wishing to cross to the North. All in all a good time awaits, see the other reviews regarding restaurants etc, give it a try!!.

Never had a problem going over to North, not even stopped at Greek checkpoint. Usually stopped in other direction to see if you have cigs etc and house papers. If you have greek hire car they are less bothered.

Development no different from anywhere else in the world at the moment!!!

Just returned from Kyrenia, where we stayed at Hotel Sempati for 1 week and had a lovely time.

Flights to Larnaca from London operate by

or www.flyhelios.com

or www.mytravel.com

we hired the car at Larnaca Airport from

who don't object to car being taken in the North.

Booking independently the flight+hotel+car hire worked out cheaper than the package offered by tour operators.

Insurance at border was 18pounds sterling for 1 week.

Distance Larnaca-Kyrenia about one-and-half hour by car.

We had no problem at the border.

Transport: there are very frequent dolmush mini-bus services from Kyrenia along the coast to the beaches.

A very good beach which we can recommend is Escape

costs about 3 pounds to get in.

very well organised, clean, good services, plenty of staff, lots of sun-loungers and umbrellas, excellent food (fresh ingredients), water sports (diving, boat training). Sandy beach and shallow water.

It was not very busy as it is low season.

Development is everywhere, thousand of apartments and villas being built along the coast. Kind of a weird experience to see placards and adverts for estate agents and developments everywhere, but it didn't spoil our enjoyment.

People are very friendly and we had a lovely time.

ERCAN or TYMVOU airport is blacklisted by the international air traffic organisation, therefore all flights to the occupied north of cyprus have to land in turkey then carry on to the north of cyprus , which is then classed as an internal turkish flight. it adds about an hour or so to your journey.

From door to door flying to either Larnaca or Ercan the time taken is about the same. It has been known for some flights not to touch down in Turkey and stops range from 30 to 60 mins. So by the time you add on waiting for luggage at Larnaca and journey over border not a lot in it!

Be very careful when hiring a car in the south to drive to the north. When you buy insurance at the crossing you are only buying THIRD party insurance. In the event of an accident, you are therefore liable for the damage to you hire car and responsible for getting the car back to the south. Much safer bet is hire in the north.

Directions from the airport to Kyrenia.

Come out of Larnaca airport and turn left at the roundabout, go over the little (control tower) roundabout and then you have to take the 2nd exit on the large roundabout for the motorway to Nicosia. When you get to the outskirts of you will see the Cyprus Stock Exchange junction 3 on your right, turn left onto the Strovolos road here, follow this road all the way, you will see signs for Kyrenia along this road. Go straight on at all roundabouts until you go up a hill and at the top is a T-junction you will, you will see a big church on the right, turn right, follow this road until you get to a roundabout, this only has 3 exits, so take the one in front of you, you will have the Coca Cola factory on your right about 200 yards up the road, at the set of traffic lights opposite the Coke factory turn left, go to the bottom of this road and you will find the border, on the TRNC side it is called Kermia, . You will need car insurance to enter the TRNC, this can be purchased at the border, the GC insurance does not cover your car over there, it costs £10 for 3 days and £15 for a month.

A daytime RETURN transfer from Larnaca airport to Kyrenia £70.00
