Latchi with someone with limited mobility

We're staying at a single storey villa near Latchi in April. Chosen bungalow as my mother in law is over 90 and not very mobile. I'd like to line up some trips and restaurants and beaches that are accessible, parking nearby, few if any steps, nice places to sit and watch the world, especially for the first couple of days of our holiday. She would love to gon the beach, perhaps paddle. Any hints and suggestions would be fantastic. She's not a wheelchair user, she has sticks. Many thanks

Most of the restaurants in Latchi are harbour side and have hundreds of outdoor seats and tables, so need to go up and down stairs. Its a great place to sit and watch the world go by and to watch the many boats coming in and out of the harbour. The restaurant at Porto Latchi has beachside tables and chairs and you can pay to use their sunbeds during the day. Great evening sunset views from this spot. There's also a few cocktail/coffee bars at the far end of the harbour and they're also very nice spots to sit and have a snack or read a book.

There are lots of parking bays directly opposite the main run of shops and restaurants in Latchi and the harbour is directly behind them. She'll have to walk no more than a few hundred yards and there's no steps if you walk down the left hand side of the shops but there are about 4 steps if you access it on the right hand side.

There's also a completely flat and paved walkway that runs between Polis and Latchi and its right by the side of the beach. Quite a few villas sit beside or very near this beachside walkway. If your villas is between the two towns she'll have easy access to the beach and again, its a great spot to watch the world go by.

Most of the bigger tour boats that operate out of latchi have access to the boats via large gangplank so she'll have no problem getting in and out of them.

You might want to visit Polis which is the next town along from Latchi. Most of Polis is set in 3/4 streets which lead off the main village square. This is a flat pedestrianized area so again easy access to bars, restaurants and shops. The main car park is large and behind the village square and opposite Moustakalis Restaurant. Again, only a few hundred yards walk to the village square. Walk up past Moustakalis and Finikas and you'll see the main square.
