ferries from any to any port in Greece

We will be in Cyprus in Oct 2013 and we want to go to Greece by sea. Information scant online. Has anyone travelled this route lately? Are ferries operational again? Can tourists travel from the south to the north?

As far as I know there are no ferries - you can cruise from Limassol to the Greek islands but you have to return to Limassol as it is a cruise not a ferry.

This web site may help.

Tourists can travel from the South to the North of Cyprus by road

You can also cross into the north on foot if you go through the checkpoint on Ledra Street (the main pedestrianised shopping area of Nicosia). You will need your passport.
