2 1/2 days in Paphos

Hi,

I have to organize a short-trip to Paphos for a group of friends and honestly spoken don't know where to start. What kind of programme would you suggest me to do? Like what day-escursions can we do from Paphos? We are happy to be on the road and are not looking for a beach holiday.

a mixture between archaeology, typical villages and nature would be great.

looking forward to get your suggestions.

cheers

The archaelogical park with the mosaics next to the harbour is a must, you could definitely spent 2-3 hours there. Aphrodite's rock would be another place to visit on the way to Limassol, as will be Kourion amphitheatre and Apollo's temple. You can also visit Chirokitia neolithic settlement (between Limassol and Larnaca). You should head to the Troodos mountains with beautiful churches and monasteries with plenty of typical villages on the way. As for nature, the Akamas peninsula (you will need a 4x4) offers a great option, as the Polis/Latchi area.
