Are you looking for privately rented accommodation or within a holiday complex?
We've stayed a number of times at the Anemi Apartments (not too far from the Alexander the Great hotel) but back a couple of streets from the seafront and also the Aliathon (now a holiday resort) a bit closer to the beack.
Kefalos Beach apartments are in quite a good position for local amenities. Not too far from the harbour but also near to Tombs of the Kings road for bars/restaurants.
Not stayed in Coral Bay area for sometime but will be there for a couple of nights next month.
Some ideal apartments for families in Coral Bay area are:
Corallia Beach Hotel Apartments, they are beachfront, with private beach, have children's swimming pool too, and are only 10 mins away from Kato Paphos, which is easily accessible by local busses.
Petsas Apartments, have also children's swimming pool, 5 minutes walking distance to the shops, restaurants, bars, banks, near the full of beauty national park of Akamas Peninsula (protected ecological area).
only a few minutes walk from the Coral Bay main area, 11km from the centre of Pafos. It also has children's swimming pool and many facilities for families.
The bus service is so good in Paphos that there really is no need to stay in the Coral Bay area. You could stay in Paphos itself and travel down to Coral Bay on public transport as and when the feeling takes you. If you decide to stay in Paphos itself then go to Apollonia Holiday Rental Apartments...not only the best in Paphos but also the best in the whole of Cyprus.
agree with the previous post.
I've never stayed there but so many people have commented on how good Appolonia Apartments are.Edited: 27 November 2012, 13:47
Louis King Jason apartments are brilliant, well stocked for self catering even though we went half board because the food is excellent and varied. Only a short walk to get the bus to harbour where there are many other buses to catch. Fares are 1 euro...or 3 euro for a day ticket. We went all over on a day ticket! The walk to harbour is only 10 minutes with many bars on the way. They have 3 pools too. 1 indoor and large outside pool, also an outside hydro therapy pool that was brilliant.
I forgot about the Louis King Jason but I agree, they're in a good spot for bar street (easy walking distance).
We stayed there quite a few years ago for a couple of nights to visit my sister-in-law who was living in Universal area.
We got 2 nights with Thomson at £1 per per apartment per night - or £2.20 for 2 nights including the credit card fee! :-)
It was early January and the apartments were lovely and warm....
Michelle, you should try them again, they have had a big refurb and well worth a visit
We're off to the Atlantica Golden Beach very soon for a few nights. It will be our first visit to Paphos for more than 3 years so I wouldn't hold your breath for a repeat visit in the immediate future! :-)
I know, we're only 70km or so away in our home town of Limassol but driving more than 20 minutes in Cyprus is not the done thing.... We used to laugh at that when we first came to live here in 2004 - but, it's true! We think twice now if where we plan to go is more than a 30 minute drive, with the exception of either airport of course.
Ive just returned from Coral Bay, plenty of apartments to rent. I stayed at Crown Resorts Horizon. Half board, people were all saying that Mercury Direct were cheap to book with, pay for two weeks and get bed and brekkie third week free. There is a Lidl not far from Coral Bay a bus ride which costs one euro or three for an all day pass, or 13 euro fo a weekly. Good luck
