King Evelthon Beach Hotel - New hotel in Paphos

Hi All

Could anyone tell me how this is coming along? Due to open in May, has anyone in Paphos seen it? I am wondering how it is developing and what it looks like at the moment so any photos would be appreciated. At the moment I can only find artist impressions.

Me again, tickets arrived and getting excited now, 4 weeks today we will be arriving and we are keeping a very open mind and all that and to be fair, it's got to be better with some slight teething issues than not going, wish everyone would chill a little on here :) everyone has an opinion don't they!!

Anyway, Just a quick question for those who've been, is the waterpark at the front of the hotel and open to the public too, little concerned about this, can joe public literally walk in off the street, is there any type of security to manage this, or free for all? Is it near road too? Thanks guys , remember happy holidays :))

You enter K E via a drive down to the main entrance which has security guards who greet you. the waterpark is open to the public at a charge but when we were there last week it was not busy. its not a huge park so the public may not want to pay to use it. the all inclusive does not include food and drink at the park but we took drinks with us, and beach towels are provided there. its definitely worth going as the lazy river and pool are lovely. Have a lovely holiday.

Hi Alison.

The water park is at the front of the hotel next to the tennis courts and football pitch.

The water park consists of the bigger slides, toddler slides and a pool, as well as a bar which is not included in the All Inclusive.

Guests of the hotel can use the water park, as well as locals who may pay to use the park. There is security and a booth you have to walk past where they check you against the hotel guest manifest or ask you to pay.

My 3 year old loved it and the life guards were plentiful and very friendly.

The water park is close to the main road, but when in there you couldn't tell as it's set lower into the ground and has lots of trees / fencing around and feels perfectly safe

Tip for you - the bar staff in the lobby are very friendly and for a small tip will happily carry a tray with all your drinks to the water park each day and so avoid the somewhat silly prices charged in the park. However mind the floor - it gets incredibly hot!

I'll try and write a full review on the main page in the next day or so. I took lots of photos of the facilities so will try and post too.

Enjoy your time there, we had a fantastic time and I'm sure you will too.

Thanks everyone, looks like we will be spending some time there, just was worried if the teens wandered over there it wouldn't be too secure, from public and roads but we will sort a rota out for it, the infinity pool looks too good to miss out on but kids don't appreciate that!!

Happy holidays and thanks again xx

This really is getting ridiculous on this forum now. There are clearly people who are opening multiple accounts, under different names to try and fill this forum with negative comments. The below is a frankly stupid statement. So because the hotel has Russian guests and Northern British guests it's not 5 star? A lot of the people on this forum are from all over the uk and have been there so that ruins that argument. I'm from Brighton - can't get much further south in the uk then that and I went there 2 weeks ago.

This forum is to help people make an educated decision about their holiday choices. I for one do not come to these forums to read silly, unfounded comments.

Maybe TA could consider closing it to new comments as the value of the topic is diminishing as time goes on and the hotel improves.

Posts from 1 post wonders are always questionable - even more so when they can't spell or make racist remarks. Trolls get everywhere.

Well we are going on sunday for ten days and are really looking forward to it, reviews much more positive apart from some silly one's! That you could say about any hotel. But it sounds like a playground on here and just a big moan. Im grateful to be going and im sure its gonna be fantastic. I will put an honest review when we get back. Any one else yet to go, have a wonderful holiday. I don't go to pick flies I go for a clean room and nice food. Relaxation and sunshine. Enjoy your holiday.
