Hi,

Visiting Charoulla Villas via Thomson in September. Just wondering what the bath/beach towel situation is at the villa? Plenty to go around, or would you recommend taking an extra one for the beach\loungers by the pool outside? Also, I understand from the Thomson website that there's a maid service twice a week - is this still the case, and do they just clean up or do laundry and change bed sheets etc?

Thanks!

Hi we have just arrived home, you get 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each. As there was only 2 of as we could use the other sets if needed as its a 4 birth. No beach towels provided but we always take our own. The maid service is once a week, we was there 2 weeks she came thursday first week Tuesday second week. All towels and bedding are changed on these days. There is a washing machine if you need to use it but we didn't.

We are in the middle of a two week stay at Caroula Villas. Number 3. We booked through Thomson and got a car in the package.

We are having the best holiday ever. The Villa is great with everything you will need including WiFi and air conditioning in each bedroom. (Extra cost - but so worth it).

Vas allies and Athina own the Villa and live next door. They are lovely and friendly and can't do enough for us. Athena's mama baked us a cake a few days ago. Then tonight she brought the most delicious meal round for us with meat rice and pumpkin Alison honeyed fruit and lots of arranges and grape fruits.

We live it here. It is so quiet and peaceful, just our type of holiday.

Lovely pool, very hot so evening swims are fab.

You definitely need a car. There are so many beautiful places to visit. Agios georios is a beautiful little harbor where you can swim and sun bathe. Latchi square has lots of restaurants and taverns. Moustakallis is a must, great food and fun. We are going to book again for next year as soon as we get home. Love it!

Has anyone been to the Charoulla villas October time? We are looking to go in the October half term. Is it nice weather? Flights seem at rubbish times, arriving there very late sunday/early Monday. Any advice from anyone that's been at this time or recently would be much appreciated!

We stayed in April and arrived late in the evening, collected hire car at the airport. We didn't find anything open once we got to Polis so went back to villa and ventured out again the following morning. Villas are amazing and I believe the weather is still very good in October. We liked the area so much we are going back in September

Thank you for replying, what's the drive to the villa like? Just concerned as we have my two daughters and it will be so late, does the hire car have satnav or should we take our own?

Hi we went last June and loved it there, the drive is just under an hour, and quite straight forward, all main roads, but when you get use to the area there are more mountain roads u can use with great views.
