monaco in july

two of us are planning on spending two nights in monaco (4-6th of july). i would like advice on a nice but not too pricy hotel. also what are the high spots for socialising? we spent a day and evening there last year and managed to fit in quite a lot, the old town ,casino, a meal overlooking the bay etc! is there anything that we should not miss the second time around? all advice welcome

I can suggest things and places but that depends on your age and interests ...:) Check the prices at Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel (private beach and pools), or Monte-Carlo Bay Resort , the newest hotel in town (fabulous). A smaller place would be Hotel Columbus (boutique hotel, minimalist and trendy). You might want to have dinner at the Monte-CArlo Sporting Club and watch the nightly show (check program). It is also nice to have dinner at the Roof restaurant of Hotel de Paris or on the Terrace of the Fairmont Hotel. If you like classical music you might want to attend one of the concerts in the court yard of the Prince's Palace (only in July and August). Attend the fireworks festival (the roof restaurant is a good place for that). If you want to have a night out : Sass Café for dinner, drinks at STARS AND BARS on the port, drinks and dance at KAREMENT (across from Sass) , dance at the super exclusive JIMMY'Z club (in the sporting club building). Did you visit the Exotic Garden and the caves? The National Museum? There will also be a major exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum during the summer.
