Cruise Stop Monaco: July 2012

We will stop in Monaco on a Sunday. Dock 9am and depart 8 pm

Is it feasible to: rent a car, travel to Biot, Mougins, and Grasse in a day? I have hopes to see the glass factory in Biot, eat lunch in Mougins, and see the perfume factory in Grasse.

How hard will it be to get a taxi at the port? Drop the car off after closing and get a taxi back to the dock?

We have been here before and driven on the Corniche and Autoroute.

if you rent a car in Monaco (avis, hertz..), companies are located on the port

you do not need taxi to dock, just walk may be 10 min

yes, you can do everything in one day

monaco to biot = may be 1h/1h15 by car

Grasse = you have the same factory in Eze Village with Fragonard, and it's better to visit Eze Village instead of the city of Grasse

Eze = only 8 km to Monaco

Hello.

In a few posts I read one does not need a taxi to the town from a dock.

Is that true for all the criuses? We are on Ruby princess and tender is rquired my cruise says. How do we get to town from the place where we are dropped off and back? Is it truly a walking distance? We can wolk a lot, so I actually embrace that.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If the Ruby Princess is anchored in the bay and you are coming in by tender, you have even less of a walk into town. Everything is walking distance in Monaco, but it is hilly so the public elevators and escalators and the buses are useful!
