Best hotel suites?

We are looking to stay in Monaco for 3 or 4 nights in Feb or March, and would like to stay in a more spacious luxurious room with a king size bed; a suite or junior suite with a terrace/balcony and a good view would be ideal. We would like to be reasonably close to the centre of town, but without it being too noisy in the hotel. If the hotel has an indoor pool that would be useful too.

Budget is very flexible - any recommendations of the hotels with the best rooms/suites?

An actual budget would be helpful. The price difference for rooms like you are describing can easily be hundreds or thousands of euros a night.

Taking your enquiry literally, the best suites are in the Hotel de Paris, the Hermitage and the Metropole. Check with the Hotel de Paris before booking if that's the one you decide on, because there is some construction work in Casino Gardens at the moment that could be annoying if you are paying top dollar.

Anywhere in Monaco is close to the centre of town, and the three I have mentioned are closest.

As Datthecoast says, the critical factor is budget, you are definitely looking at thousands rather than hundreds...

Ok, budget-wise, hundreds would be preferable to thousands!

I have found a junior suite (courtyard view) at the hermitage, and a superior junior suite at the metropole - any comments on which is better? Thank you!

Both are likely to be the same in terms of facilities and space, so now it depends on the sort of atmosphere you would be happiest in. The Metropole is relatively modern and the Hermitage has more of an old world feel to it. Rooms very comfortable in both, service excellent in both and restaurants great in both - plenty of Michelin stars to choose from. Whichever you choose, have a great stay!
