Changing trains at Salzburg

We have pre-booked train tickets from Vienna to Kitzbuhel with a change of train at Salzburg. There is only 10 minutes between trains. How big is Salzburg train station and how easy is it to change trains. There will be 4 of us (2 teenagers) and luggage. What will be the final destination on the board for the train to Kitzbuhel (or is that its final destination)? Many thanks for any help.

Go to the website of ÖBB (www.oebb.at) and perform a query that contains your train to Kitzbühel. When you click on it, then you'll see the final station (termination point). I suppose it is Wörgl or even Innsbruck. Salzburg's train station is not that small and, in addition, currently under re-construction. Nonetheless 10 minutes are more than enough to change trains.
