Places to visit between Friedrichshafen to Innsbruck

Hi we are travelling from Friedrichshafen to Innsbruck stopping for a couple of nights at St Anton (visiting a relative). Please could someone suggest lovely places to visit & stay en-route.

Many thanks

If you want to stay en route, I would stay in Lindau, on the island with its old town. There are nice hotels along the picturesque harbor. If you are going by train, the main RR station is right at the habor.

Obviously, you could drive or take the train from F. to St. Anton in one day.

Bregenz (also on the lake, in Austria) has the Pfaender cable car, that takes you to the top of the mountain with its great views of the lake and the Swiss Alps.

In Frierichshafen, if you have the time, visit the Zeppelin Museum . The museum gives the whole history of these airships, with many models and some reconstructions of the passenger facilities of the LZ 129, Hindenburg.

Thank you so much for your suggestions, Lindau looks lovely & we'll definitely pay a visit to the Zeppelin museum.
