safety

we are three women in our 50's and 60's traveling from a vacation in italy to Innsbruck for a few days. We have found an apt across from the train station in Innsbruck. We are concerned about the area only because in most big cities in most countries near the stations are not so safe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The train station is located in the city center on a large square.

Location also for bus lines in the region only.

Several large hotels on the square

Safe yes- most all of Austria is quite safe - naturally as whenever trasveling take normal precautions.

Perhaps however , you could find another apartment providing more of an atmosphere - even immediately out of the city.

Innsbruck isn't a big city why its train station is quite harmless. No objections to stay there!
