Breakfast at the Naschmarket

In Vienna for a three night stay and one of the highlights of any holiday is breakfast. We have pencilled in a breakfast at the hotel (Bristol), in one of the famed cafes (probably the cafe Schwarzenberg) but then we've been looking for somewhere a bit different.

Been reading about the Naschmarket on a Saturday morning and planning a visit. Also read that there are a few Turkish cafes in and and around that area. Can anyone recommend a good cafe to visit. Or maybe a great bakery. Doesn't have to be anywhere posh.

Many thanks.

I like to have breakfast at Neni in the Naschmarkt.

You also might want to consider the Brunnenmarkt as an alternative to Naschmarkt - more local and hip.

Haas and Haas Teehaus is also a great place to consider (behind Stephansplatz).

The Meierei at the Stadtpark is probably the ultimate breakfast spot in the city:

Maybe consider Café Sperl as an alterative to Schwarzenberg.

Hi,

another possibility is to have breakfast at the Hotel Sacher http://www.sacher.com/hotel-sacher-wien/

or in one of the typical vienniese coffee houses http://www.wiener-kaffeehaus.at/start.aspx

e.g. Cafe Landtmann http://www.landtmann.at/ or the Meierei im Stadtpark

Best regards
