SIM card for Austria & Swiss

Hello.

I will be in Austria (3days) and Switzerland (5days). I am looking for a SIM card with some good data package. I will be basically using it for google maps gps (i will be renting a car in Salzburg), and using tripadvisor app. Very rarely for phone calls. Mostly local. Not international. Is there any SIM card that will work in both countries without extra roaming charges? If not which is the cheapest SIM card that I can purchase separately in both countries? And what data package should i choose for these countries. I am looking for for something around 1 GB/500 mb for the whole week.

Can anyone please suggest me something. I have gone through various operators website. But totally confused on what to choose.

Enter SIM CARD in the search box. There are so many threads on SIM cards - when the results are returned, sort by date. You will find a lot of good information already in the forum.

No, there isn't an Austrian SIM card that offers free roaming in Switzerland. In Austria consider DREI (www.drei.at) or maybe Yesss! (www.yesss.at). Perhaps your home network offers any "travel package" that also includes some data transfer? That would be easier than buying SIM cards in Europe just for a few days.
