Oslo to Tromso in May

visiting Norway in May. Want to do a dog sled trip and see the Northern lights. Any suggestions on dog sled company and where to see the northern lights if possible in May. We will leave from Oslo, by plane, to Oslo and how many days should we stay in Tromso to see the sights. Need recommendations of places to stay.

Not possible to see NL, there is midnight sun from May 18th (24 h daylight some days before). You need darkness to see NL.

There are places with remains of snow in mid-May, but I guess dog sled tour season is mostly over as snow is qucikly disappearing. At higher altitudes in the interior of Troms (near the border) as well as on the Hardangervidda plateau there is usually snow in May.
