The ferrys and boat trips throughout Norway

Hi

We are planning a car trip to Norway in May this year, but so far the ferries and boat trips only go to April.

Does anyone know when we can book May?

Most car ferries can not be booked in advance, you just show up for the departure and buy your ticket on board.

Time tables for the summer of 2012 should be available by March at the latest.

Domestic car ferries are extensions of the road network and are mostly short fjord crossings. In South Norway the long tourist ferry Gudvangen-Kaupanger is an exception.
