Thinking of visiting Norway in Oct.
We love viewing water attractions (sea coast, waterfalls, lakes, fjords), taking boat trips/ferries - esp. overnight ferries, light hiking, viewing wildlife and taking photos (we love to take lots of holiday photos - not pro level).
We enjoy driving (and have driven on snow a lot). We also love train travel.
We are thinking of a ferry/train/drive mix.
We want to see the NL, and know they are not guaranteed - ever.
If Oct is the time we have for a holiday, is Norway a good destination?
We have read that there is a lot of rain in Oct. What does that mean (all day, every day / a few hrs., a few days a week / overcast every day)? We don't mind some rain. Cold, blowing rain all day gets old fast.
So, sorry for the long post. I tried to give some info to get good advice.
Thanks, in advance for any advice or info.
