Nutshell Reservations

Hi all,

I'm heading to Oslo next week and already have my rail pass. However, I have not yet reserved seats on any of my trains, including from Oslo to Flam and Flam to Bergen. Will I be fine to wait to reserve seats until I get to the train station? Or do you think that's too big of a risk? Thanks!

Only the rail company will know how busy the trains are.

Go to the rail site and do a dummy booking for the train you expect to take. Look at the price for minipris tickets - if they are getting expensive then it suggests that that train is getting full https://www.nsb.no/en/

Whether trains are full depends on day of week and time - so saying 'next week' gives us nothing to go on, except to say that as far as I can see there are no special circumstances such as holidays then.
