Trondheim to the French Alps

We are looking for a cost effective way for a student from Trondheim to join our party for a skiing holiday in the French Alps (Val Cenis - nearest airport Chambery). Could be train, plane or a combination but the less changes and least cost the better. Can anybody help us as we are stumped!

He could fly into Geneva with either Norwegian (three days a week), SAS or KLM (both daily). With Norwegian there are no discounts, but SAS offers Youth Fare (Ungdomsbilletter) for those between 12 and 25 years. Price would be around 3000 NOK for a round trip (depending on the dates). KLM also offers from just under 3000 NOK to Geneva.

Flying into Paris would be from 2000 NOK with Norwegian (Orly), 2500 NOK with SAS (Charles de Gaulle) and from 2300 NOK with KLM (Charles de Gaulle).

With KLM he could also fly into Lyon for 2300 NOK
