Best time to go up Aksla Viewpoint for pictures

I'd like to have the sun behind me so that the city/mountains are the highlight for the best photo op. Would this be in the morning rather than evening? We are visiting in late june.

Mt Aksla is just east of the centre, so in afternoon/evening you will face the sun.

Like Osloviking says, if you want the sun in your back it has to be in the morning. But the sunset from the viewpoint at Aksla can be beautiful. But more challenging when shooting into the sun of course. Also, it all depends on the weather, so maybe check the short term forecast so see if morning is better than evening or vice versa.
